My Professional Career

My name is Kristina Hogue and I am a Penn State graduate with a BA in Corporate Communications. I graduated from the university a semester early and as an honors student.

​With my degree, I landed a temporary position as a Digital Content Creator Assistant at Variety, The Children's Charity - Pittsburgh. There, I got my feet wet in professional content creation for social media platforms, started their TikTok account, and grew their social following.

Looking for something more permanent, I found myself at the Carpenter Contractor Trust, a marketing company for Union Contractors and Carpenters alike. During my time here, I've created content for large-scale marketing initiatives in both NFL Stadiums and for race tracks across our servicing area. I have also grown their following on social platforms, created their TikTok account, and networked with high profile individuals at industry events. I've organized events, designed our booth at trade shows, and developed strategies to incentivize booth attendees to apply to the trades. I've worked with my team members to produce one-pagers, all in pursuit of growing our brand presence, increasing visibility for our contractors, and generating applications for the Carpenters Union.
